Counselling and Life Coaching

with Noel Ross-Russell

There is a clear difference, frequently misunderstood, between counselling and coaching. The goal of the first is to assist an individual with problems such as anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties and various kinds of stress, while the second is aimed at improving those personal skills of communication and presentation needed in every activity from company management to sports, as well as in private life.

With a background in music, drama and psychology, Noel Ross-Russell is a counsellor with many years’ experience. Trained at London’s Royal College of Music and Guildhall School of Music and Drama, his early career as a musician with the London Philharmonic Orchestra and as an actor in Canada provided opportunities for his natural talents as a communicator. Later he studied counselling psychology and qualified as an accredited counsellor of the Institute for Individual Psychology in London. In addition to an extensive private practice in England he worked for the British Association for Performing Arts Medicine and taught at the Central School of Counselling and Therapy.

Several of Noel’s books: The Orange Rose, Serenade of Fear, A Voice Within and There Will I Sing can be found in libraries here including the Central Library of The Hague. He is currently engaged with presentations  The Orange Rose and Mind Gardener – A Work in Progress.
